About the job

  • You will be responsible for performing various sample preparation workflows to analyse interactomes and (phospho)proteomes;

  • You are/will be trained or have affinity with operating and maintaining state of the art hybrid mass spectrometers (Exploris 480) and liquid chromatography systems (Vanquish Neo);

  • You will be performing routine quality control and troubleshooting tasks;

  • You will be trained in basic raw data processing and downstream computational analyses of proteomics data;

  • Maintaining accurate and well-organized laboratory records, worksheets and notebooks.

Job requirements

  • Having completed an HBO in laboratory technology or having a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. molecular biology). Related experience in cancer cell biology is a plus

  • Being experienced with proteomics sample preparations techniques and operating mass spectrometers and LC systems

  • Having strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Being a proactive team player who can multitask and builds relationships easily

  • Having excellent communication skills and being fluent in English

  • Having a problem-solving, creative and flexible mindset
